What Does It Take To Be The Best At What You Do?

In every field, there are numerous individuals who outshine their counterparts in all that they do. They are the ones which rise above the rest to become the best, no matter what that may be. But just what does it take to be great at what you do or be better than those people who perform the same tasks or actions as you? The answer to that question is not that complicated when you examine it from a motivational and dexterous perspective. Furthermore, in most case, luck or serendipity have no real bearing in what makes anyone better than the rest.

It's Not What Talents You Have....

So what makes others better or greater than their fellow counterparts? For the most part, there are those who are born with gifts or abilities that others simply do not posses. This is evident mostly in sports where the vast majority of people who watch athletes perform can only wonder how they can do such feats. Of course, there are also others possessing special talents giving them the abilities to outperform the rest via acts of extraordinary achievements. Nonetheless, for the rest of the world who are not blessed with such attributes from birth, they must make up for it by having the aspiration to be proficient, resourceful and efficacious.

But What You Do With Them

In hindsight, we know and understand that there are millions of people all around the world born and blessed with all kinds of talents. Whether those endowments consist of athletic prowess and abilities, intelligence or numerous others, not all those having said talents reach full potential. While there may be several factors which end up contributing to this, the most common is desire. No matter what capabilities or gifts you are born and blessed with, if you have no desire to develop and excel at them, your aptitudes will be moot. In fact, having the desire to succeed can actually end up making people with lesser talents than their counterparts, be better than them. No matter what you do in this life, if you have eagerness and a passion for what you do, you can be the best at it.

Never Settle For less Than Greatness

There are those which are content on being mediocre or average when performing or doing something. Cases like these are common in the workplace where some are willing to get by simply doing an average performance of whatever tasks are required from them. However, there are those people who are meticulous to a fault and will do everything in their power to be the best. These people usually end up getting promoted faster and noticed far more than the rest of their other colleagues as well. Having the proclivity to be triumphant in all you do doesn't necessarily mean that the person may be arrogant or conceited. On the contrary. It is what sets athletes apart from others on the field who are on a team containing numerous players. Ambition and earnestness, along with many other aspirations is what makes some succeed where millions who tried before them failed.

What makes me a better writer than most of my fellow counterparts? The previous statements are all predicated upon my own personal tenet & doctrine. I am a great writer.
